Writer's Block

 

I think I'm entering an infatuation phase with black and white.  First, it adds instant gravitas to a photo.  This photo isn't a good example of it but I also like how it keeps the colors of background objects from drawing attention away from the subject.  And of course it really emphasizes tone and shape.  I'm going to be getting an X20 pretty soon to use as a "Moment's Notice Camera", and I intend to shoot a lot more B&W with it.
